got a question for you.am planning to get the newest acer aspire one, and my question isis it possible to install windows vista without decreasing the performance of the laptop?as i know the new aspire one runs on windows xp>

I wouldn’t as Vista is very unnecessarily power/processor/memory hungry, Vista may work but is a horrible OS….. Windows 7 is your safest bet, but hey, its up to you…. service packs have lowered the blow of using vista….

You got an older Acer aspire one. I have one that has several SD card slots, different build, and more features.

the only one with 2 sd slots is the 8.9inch one… AKA the oldest model with the least features.

it’s a port (Internet port), so you can plug in the LAN(local area network/Ethernet cable.

What are you planning to use the Acer Aspire One for? i know a relative with it…and i’ve personally used it alot.I can give you some advice if still needed..
