Mine came with the 3 cell battery and i get around 3 hours battery life with wireless activated. Either way its a great laptop i reccomend it to anyone/

What I really want to know, and cant understand anything but english, is if its alright to install a couple programs on it. Im gonna be using this solely for my music producing. Im deleting everything off of it in order to make more space. I plan on upgrading to the 2gb ram. It comes with XP. I cant see why not other than having to get the external CD drive. Nobody cares though, im just thinking on computer comments.

Also ich find das D250 der absolute Hammer… Ich werde es mir in einer Woche zulegen und werde vllt. auch ein kleines Vid machen (outboxing). Freu mich schon riesig auf das Gerät!

The Harddisk noice is definetely very quiet. About the fan I can’t say anything because I don’t have the machine myself yet (I’m gonna get it in a week) but it shouldn’t be very loud. See it like this: small book, small fan!

it’s silent more or less. I love mine.
