Acer Aspire One Running Ubuntu


I recently installed ubuntu (intrepid ibex) on my Acer Aspire One using the new “Create live USB” feature in intrepid.

    I dualbooted this with XP. It stops the wireless connection from XP. So it wireless will ONLY work in UNR (ubuntu netbook remix).Switch to classic view Preferences>Switch Desktop Mode. This will bring it back like a desktop. Although the Netbook desktop is a lot easier to understand.If you install compiz, you are able to use the 3d cubes. But it is just a little bit glitchy. When in netbook desktop it messes up the top bar, but in classic it is almost perfect.
