The standard Aspire One with 8GB SSD only has a 3 Cell battery. This lasts me about 2.5 hours which is fine, but there will be situations when I want more. Acer are releasing a 6 Cell battery later…

I have a sony laptop and its charger output is 19.5V at 4.7A but the question is that am i able to use one of these external charger for my laptop or not. thankx
Good one bro, thanks for sharing. I just have a problem with my system, I have seen an external battery available near me but it says 19V at 4.7A (max)should that destroy my acer aspire one if I use it?Under the aspire one i see something written — 19V, 1.58Awhat is this about. what is the rating in your batteries?
OK. A question. What is the voltage the original DC. Is it the same?Maybe for now it seems to be working fine but who knows maybe by using a different DC input, with higher voltage you just shorting the life of the battery or the charging circuitry.
Both 19V.
