I partitioned my hard drive to allow 30GB to Windows 7, and the rest to Mac. The 7 partition runs out of space fairly quickly, But the Mac one has plenty of space. In the future, I plan on installing a 500GB hard drive. I’ve never noticed a speed decrease on any of my computers form having alot of files. I have a desktop with 2.5TB and it’s still as fast as ever.

the harman/kardon speakers are quite decent, well if you have them.however, you may want to make a choice between h/k and altec. both sound different. the h/k sounds warmer and has more bass admittedly, but the altec’s have more crispness, more midrange balance, but lacks bass somewhat

that 17″ toshiba should have some pretty good speakers in it already. most 17″ laptops are top-of-the-line.
