No you can change a lcd from another manufacturer as the specification is different, unless you know that the two lcds are exactly identical model and even the manufacturing revision are the same. It is always best to get the same model for replacement.

i have a question.. can i change the LCD from a fujistu siemens with an LCD from a different laptop but with the same size for example from an acer or anything else?
