Want to buy a laptop/notebook; I’m working on my MBA. I’m looking for the best and must reliable, the screen no more that 15″, not too heavy, because I need to take it to college every night. I would like to be able to play good games also.

I just bought an Acer computer – Aspire X1200 – and the system does allow me to install my HP printer.Help pls?

While trying to set up my HP printer, I keep getting the following message: “this system does not meet one minimum requirement needed to install this product. The installation cannot continue.” In particular, the message indicates that the issue is ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS. As an attempt to solve the problem, I have created a Administrator user, logged into it and tried to set up the printer again. I got the some error. My printer is a HP officejet 4200 series and this is a Windows Vista system. Please help!

and it currently has 2GB of memory. I am looking to upgrade this up to 4GB but I am uncertain as to what I need to buy. Like what type, how many sticks, etc… Acer doesn’t provide manuals with most there products so I can’t refer to that. If anyone can help me and point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Alright, so first of all. What Acer is Newer. The Acer TravelMate 280 Or the Acer Travel Mate 4000
Secondly- Does the acer travelmate 280, how do i conect my bluetooth to it. like send stuff to it, because there is a blutooth button but it only makes a light flash, and i still cant find devives with my phone.
Thirdly, Does the acer travel mate 280 have wireless, like can i conect to my mums wireless network. because i dont know how to do that, if anyone does it would be a great help.

When i Plug my USB mouse or Keyboard… it say ” New Hardware Found.(USB Device)” and it needs a CD or Floppy disk to install it… it has no CD when i buy the Hardware…i buy the Cheapest hardware…No BRAND…. But that salesman try at his laptop it works… what can i do? Thx alot…

Do Acer laptops good and efficient?

I want to buy 2 laptops, wife and me. She is a college student and so do I, but i do it online. Also we do music and I do family finances and regular stuff.

Walmart has Acer laptops very cheap and it’s tempting, but i have read a couple of comments that they are slow and bad. I need some serious pro insight. And if I dont go with that one, which one is a good choice? Other than Dell; i really want to avoid that brand.
I know i would have to upgrade to a new computer in 2 years, so i want to have than in mind to so i dont spend a lot of money

Hi, I recently sent out my laptop for repair to Acer in Temple, TX. It is still under warranty fortunately. I found an 800 number in the manual and waited and waited and never got a live person so I went online and filled out the form there.
They promise a 2-9 day turn around on repairs. Has anyone else had any warranty repairs done by Acer and if so did they fix it properly first time and were you happy with the service they provided under the warranty period?
