I know what a netbook is and I’m aware of its capabilities
However Age of Empires II as you may know is a very light game that only requires an USB memory to load the 300MB game…
Can I buy a netbook and be able to play this game?

As long as the Notebook meets the following specs:
Microsoft® Windows® 95/98/Me/XP/NT 4.0 with service pack 5
PC with 166 MHz equivalent or higher processor
32 MB of system RAM
200 MB available hard disk space, 100 MB of available hard disk space for swap file
4x speed or faster CD-ROM drive
Super VGA with 2 MB of video memory
Sound card, speakers or headphones required for audio
Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
56.6 Kbps or better modem for online play

Honestly I think it will run fine, but are you really sure you want to play that game? I reinstalled it not more than a couple months ago, then promptly uninstalled it again. The game is full of some pretty nasty glitches.
