How Can I Format My Acer Aspire One?

I really want to format my Acer Aspire One laptop but it doesn’t have a disk drive so i don’t know how i can save the things i need on another disk? Or do i not need to do that?
Help!!

    Why would you want to format it?
    If you mean back up your data, then just get a portable hard drive, they’re really cheap now. You can get a 300GB portable hard drive for $50.
    If you mean format as in restore it to its factory settings, then there should be a backup disc that came with the netbook. You’ll need a portable disc drive, though. They’re about $100.
