How Do I Install A Computer Cd Program On My Acer Aspire One When It Doesn’t Have A Cd Drive?

How do I put a cd program into my acer aspire 1 when it does not have a cd drive. I just got it today and need to put some programs into it. If you know how then please tell me. If you need more information then tell me what you need and I will redo my question.

Ah, your problem is similar to one that the Macbook Air has because it doesn’t have a CD-ROM drive either what you’ll have to do is go to the store and buy an external USB CD-ROM Drive while it’s not as good as efficient as a built-in drive but it all works. Below is a link to the one built for your computer.

You’ll need an external drive, either USB or network shared drive. If you have a “network” at home, you can create a workgroup, join a pc with a CD drive to that network workgroup and share that particular drive (under file and Print sharing).
You should then be able to access it from the Acer when it joins that workgroup on your network.
Or, get a 4 GIG USB thumbdrive, copy the contents of the CD to the drive and then install from the thumbdrive.
