Battery lasts for a good 7 hours normal use and 5 with as much drain as I could accomplish. Only drawback is the awkward shape that goes more down than out that really affects portability. Now laptop looks more L shaped. Little rubber feet on the bottom are kind of weak. Side panels are shiny black which doesn’t really match the rest of the product. Looks like an aftermarket battery.

This battery is amazing. The increased battery life would last you through nearly any trip. Depending on what I’m doing, I’m getting about 8 hours of battery life out of it.
And I like how it’s “L” shaped, which allows more airflow underneath which keeps your netbook cooler.

Of course it is bigger, heavier, and not as “fitting” as the 3-cell battery for your Aspire One, but the battery longevity will offset that. The 9-cell battery also props the back up to allow for better circulation under for the cooling fan and a more natural typing position. For the $___.__ (current price of $60 when I bought this) I would say that you will not be disappointed.
I used to use a 3-cell battery, so that is the POV I am coming from. I don’t know how this battery compares to a 6-cell, but as far as from a 3-cell battery it is as cool as extremely large tongued Converse high-tops and it is 1987. (also, you are wearing Jams)

The battery arrived earlier than promised (within two or three days), in perfect condition. So far–after charging, discharging completely, and recharging once–the battery performs as advertised, providing 8-9 hours of use, including several WiFi hours, per charge. Its somewhat bulky size adds a little to the dimensions and weight of my tiny netbook (Aspire One, 8.9″), but it enables me to use the computer for the purpose for which I bought it: long bus and train trips.
