Acer Aspire One Netbook for Sale

So I’m looking for a notebook/laptop for around 500 euro to type stuff/documents for school & to record audio.
I was pretty sure I was going to get the Acer Aspire http://www.cdfreaks.com/hardware/product/94300-Acer-Aspire-5738Z-423G16MN.html but then a friend of mine said I could get some cool Mac’s second hand for 500 euros.

So I found this Power book G4 from 2004 Apple Power book G4 with keyboard and mouse and these specs:

* Processor Power PC G4 1,5Ghz
* Memory 1GB
* Hard disk 80GB
* Super drive DVD player (CD+DVD branden!)
* Bluetooth en Airport
* Charger
* 17″ widescreen

I’m don’t know which one I should get right now and I couldn’t compare the Acer with the G4 to know which one performs better, any insiders help here?

how can i connect my Nokia N70 via bluetooth to my acer aspire 3005MLMI notebook pc and hence i can use it as a modem to use inernet (GPRS) on my pc

like is it good, useful, portable, stuff like that?

The computer’s a few years old, and I need something that’ll work for me the same as the first adapter that I bought for it.

I was just wondering if you would recommend it. It seems to meet the requirements that i expect of a laptop and i will mainly use it for school work (yr 12) & multimedia (pictures, videos etc).
Just looking for a mini-wrap-up (mini-review), as i have searched for information on the internet and there is not much there.
I know all the specifications, just looking for opinions.

Thinking of buying this acer notebook for my kitchen space– have a PC in the house already that I use for pictures, IPOD, etc. This will be my first notebook purchase. Will be using it for browsing the internet, email, excel files of the million lists I make, recipes,etc– very basic stuff. Want it to be minimul and cheap and easy to use–$299.00! but also need it to do what I mentioned above. Is this a good purchase? Will Vista Home Basic do it for me? Will it be adequate? Any advice will be appreciated.

i want to know the process on changing the laptop battery of my acer aspire 3620. Can i do it on my own or do i have to send it to a computer shop to have it changed?
