Acer Aspire One Netbook for Sale

this past christmas I bought my wife an Acer Aspire 17″ 3gb ram, 320gb hardrive, ati 4200 HD. bought from Home shopping, the computer had a limited warranty stating if it was their mistake they fix if i messed it up they did. The motherboard was faulty the computer had bad start up problems, these problems happened as soon as we plugged it in. sent it to acer, payed $50 to insure and ship. they sent it back unfixed, after calling and cursing at all the “non english comprehending people” if thats polite enough, it sounded like u were pre payin for gas at 711.
I sent it back to them again, with a note telling them exactly what to check for, they sent it back once again not fixed. Acer is horrible. I have nothing but bad things to say.

But HSN is great, they are giving me a full refund.

I want to buy another 17″ screen or larger, she’s pretty much set on the big screen (we’re blind lol)
prefer it to be just as good of specs as the last, but I want a good video card atleast Ati HD4200, we only really play the sims 3, games to that matter, but i need to know good brands? I was thinking of a 18.4″ toshiba sattelite for $899 its on qvc if anyone would like to help find a reliable computer.

I’ve had bad experiences with evry dell i’ve ever owned, along with the recent acer. I have a gateway desktop that is old as the hills, I’m using it now, came with a 80 gb hardrive…. that was the biggie back then.
But now when i recently had the problems with acer the Gateway/Emachine/Acer support line called

if gateway is owned by Acer…. forget it.

HP? Toshiba?
price range: keep it $900 or below. not including sales tax and all that.
I really like hsn, qvc, with the flex pay options.. I have payed off alot of nice things that way on a limited income.
also i kinda want a pretty reliable return policy incase it’s a junker.
