Acer Aspire One Netbook for Sale

i have an acer aspire one and i cant change the wallpaper. i right click on the desktop and the options arnt listed to change the wallpaper. i have also tried right clicking on an image and selecting set as wallpaper, then logging off and back on, which failed. anyone know how to fix it?

I really want expert help on which one I should get. If you know any other desktops that I can get for cheap that are really good quality, can you please give me links of them?

The one I’m really interested in is the HP one. There were 25 people who gave it 5/5 on Best Buy’s consumer reviewers and all of them liked it, but what changed my mind was the review from the site I put there :\. I’ve also always thought that Acer computers weren’t that great until I saw the review of it. The only thing that I don’t like about it is that it might have just gotten a high review just because it includes a LCD Monitor.

I’m mainly just looking for an alright computer that is worth the money.

I have an Acer desktop running on XP and I am not sure how to interept my wireless internet router with the desktop.

I have a Acer Travelmate C310 convertible tablet (triple boot- XP, Vista, Ubuntu) and a desktop with Vista Home Premium and Ubuntu so I would like to use my table as a mouse for Vista- is there any software which would enable me to do so?

Okay, so I have heard some pretty bad reviews on the acer computers, & everything I’ve heard about the iPods are excellent.
I do have a computer at home, and my mom is getting a refurbished apple laptop. But I kinda wanted my own computer so I wouldn’t have to share .
And I’ve wanted an iPod touch since the 2nd gen came out.
& we’re kinda tight on money, not much, but I have to choose between the two.

I’m actually kinda torn, so please help me out! And no dumb answers, cuz I really need to figure this out.

i just got a laptop the aspire one by acer and i wanna change the background, but i dont know how. i wasnt able to find the desktop background settings in the control pannel. do i have to download anything to change the wallpaper?

Ram: 898mb
Hard Drive: 100gb
Video card: SiS mirage 3

I’ve always had a mac mini, and really didn’t care about updating anything, but now that my crappy 40g hard drive and 512mb ram kills all my chances to play WoW, I’m switching to a PC.

So i want to purchase the cheapest, 2gb ram stick, nvidia 7600 or ati radeon x1600 video and that’s probably it.

Can I simply purchase the RAM and Video card, open up the comp, stick them in and have a good time playing WoW, or is it more difficult than that, and is it even worth upping up this comp, should I just buy a new one with better specs? I’m low on cash though, so I figure that just buying the items necessary would be the most cost-efficient.

Sorry if I sound ignorant, I’m quite new to this, but since WOTLK makes it so that I need better specs, I’ve got to ask.
