Can I play high end games on my acer laptop?

I’m currently using an Acer 7720 laptop which was purchased in December 2007. I want to begin my journey in playing high-end games at high graphical levels in my laptop like World In Conflict, Crysis, Gears of War and Bioshock since I will not be allowed to buy a new computer for some time, perhaps at late October. That is why I want to upgrade my laptop to high specs as to play the desired games smoothly in high graphics. Please tell me the suitable upgrades for the model of my laptop and if possible, the price needed too. Thanks.
Specs of my laptop:

1GB DDR2 SODIMM Ram
250Gb SATA Hard Drive
NVidia GeForce 8400 GS TurboCache 512 Mb, with 256 dedicated and 256 shared.
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7300 2 Ghz, 800 Mhz FSB, 4mb L2 Cache.

Can this laptop run GTA IV on low, medium, high or perfect settings?

I really wanna play Grand Theft Auto IV and I don’t have an XBox 360 or PlayStation 3.

1. I can’t use Can You Run It? because I don’t have the laptop.

2. I don’t know how to compare specs using the Grand Theft Auto IV website.

3. The specs are:
- Operating System: Windows Vista Business
- Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor T6670 2.2GHz
- Memory: 3GB
- Maximum Memory: 4GB
- Graphics: Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD
- Hard Drive: 350GB

4. If the laptop can run the game, can it run on low, medium, high or perfect settings?

5. I want the game to run smoothly with no lagging.

6. I am switching the operating system to Windows XP Home Edition.

7. If changing the graphics card possible on a laptop, or if it would improve the gameplay, please say so.

8. Because I’m changing operating system, the memory required will be changed.

I have an acer aspire 3000 laptop i dont play high graphic games is it good enough for simple stuff?

It seems good enough it runs fast it has an 802.11b/g wireless adaptor not the best hard drive but i have a 1tb pocket usb plug and play hard drive and microsoft office 2007

Seeking a high level contact within SONY Corp to place a complaint about a nearly new 3000.00 laptop?

This laptop has a defect that I did not cause. However with a 3000.00 price tag, I had hoped the product would have been nearly perfect in every way.
Laptop was purchased only nine months ago, and SONY is giving me the run-around.

Im a freshman college student from the Philippines. Im in a strict budget right now and badly needs to buy a laptop for my studies. Im reffering to LAPTOP and not NOTEBOOK. can anyone help me to find a great one that fits my budget but a high quality one? Maybe a brace of 14,000 pesos and below. Thanks a lot.
