I cannot figure out how to install my drivers for wireless broadband on Linux. I will appreciate any help. Thanks-

I am using Acer Travelmate 250. Can I install it in my laptop?

I don’t want to have to pay someone 50 bucks to install extra memory. Is installation easy or should I get a professional to do thus?

Card is working, computer is working. When installed message says wireless network not available. A router is present for which this card in a Dell laptop at this same location was working.
Button was pushed it made no difference. Went to BIOS to locate “enabling wireless setting”, followed instructions but still did not light up. What next ?
