I was working on my Acer laptop last night, and put it down for about ten seconds, then went back to it but it had switched itself off and I could not put it back on. It was running on an ac adapter at the time.
Now when I plug the adapter into the laptop, the light on the adapter flashes, and the light which detects the ac adapter on the laptop is off. (The light then stays steady on the adapter when I take it out of the laptop). What does this mean ? I only bought the adapter a couple of weeks ago, so it can’t be that can it? I’m hoping against all hope that my laptop isn’t faulty….what do you think?

Sales clerk said program would ask for product key. It didn’t, but went thru what looked like a loading process. I can’t find said program in “all programs” guide. Acer aspire computer came with Vista trial (still active). How do I know my new programs are installed? (word 2007, excel 2007, powerpoint 2007, & oneNote 2007).

I want to buy a small-size laptop that is basically just a word processor. Like carrying around a pad of paper and pencil, but high-tech. I would like it to be smaller than a normal laptop and cost a few hundred bucks less.
Do these exist, or am I out of luck?

is this the same as the installation disk in other computers i have bought? or should i take it back to wal mart because they left the cd out of my box?

IT’s keep on flashing a orange light next to the place where you open your screen. Now my battery is low and there is 2 orange lights? Normal? Do all laptops flash a color when it’s closed and sitting somewhere? I do not understand about them:) help

I got a acer 10.1 aspire one netbook…laptop… from my cousin and i have tryed many wireless internet routers and tried and tried to hook them up but i cant get it t work…actually im trying to hook it up to my main computer…desktop… and i cant seem to get it…i nedd full steps, what kind of router to get, and pleae make the steps easy enough for a 14 year old.
i have tried to restart but i havnt looked for a green thing thanks both of you
and my mom helps me sometimes, and i told her what u said, but she said we r past that, we have it all set up when we click on internet exlporer the screen just says the windows cannot display page thing. its gettin on my nerves cus i cant figure it out

I have an acer laptop and all of a sudden it wont turn on and all it does is restart constantly. I see the acer screen but it turns right off again. Ive pressed all the buttons and used F2 but still wont let me get in it. Does anyone know what i could do? We checked for problems with a scan and it says there is nothing wrong at all. School starts next week and i need the comp!! Can anyone help me?
