Acer Aspire One Netbook for Sale

I have just ordered a new laptop, which sounds really good for the price. I have searched for reviews of it, and cannot find any. before i ordered it i thought i was viewing customer reviews, but at a closer look they are different models. Does anyone have one of these or know of a review on the internet, specifically of this model?

I want an acer aspire one and i just want to know if anyone would reccommend it…

the computer has 320 HD, 4 GB RAM and Athlon 64X2 300M processor. i am not familiar with acer. is it a good brand? i almost paid $700 for the laptop. im really tired of HP and dell brand. i was gonna buy a vaio but they are really expensive

have tried to just delete some folders but still the same

I was just wondering how good it was. I doon’t need a super-computer or anything, just one good enough for simple stuff.If it’s not very good- are there any other lower priced($500-$700) laptops you’d recommend? Thanks.

I really need a new computer, and it seems to me that the ACER laptops are the cheapest ones so far. I’ve read good and bad reviews on ACER laptops. Also, I won’t need to do hard heavy work, I just need it to do my homework on the web in and write essays on word..no heavy work, so do you think ACER would be a good enough laptop just for my student work? It’s not like I need it to design plans or download special programs and all that, just easy student work like I said. What do you think, should I consider getting an ACER or is there any other cheap laptop brand that works very well? I’m located in the US so any good but affordable brand that would be available in the US is good, nothing too expensive like $500+.

Also, are the ACER netbooks (which are smaller and more portable) any good to work like on the web and use microsoft word most of the time?

I’m a college student, and my PC just took a leap off a cliff. I need a new computer for finals coming up. Should I just buy now (using a student discount) or wait a bit for Black Friday?

My dad recently bought a business laptop, it wasn’t used for like 6 months, so he gave it to me. It’s an Acer Aspire 5600. It has a Intel Centrino Dou Processor and has Windows XP Media Center 2005 and is Vista Capable. I believe it has 504 MB Memory. The only thing installed on it is a printer and Microsoft Office. Back to my question, this computer is just plain slow. I don’t know what is wrong with it. If you go to play a CD on it, it skips and sounds awful. Even when you start up, the Windows start-up sound skips. Is Acer just a bad computer or is there something wrong with mine?

my sister has a laptop witch we dont pay for Internet on it we “borrow it” lol and hers has one sometimes maybe 2 bars of how good the Internet connection is and so does my mini acer and im payin 60 a month for no less why?

Now i want to upgrade to atleast windows vista home premium because i do photo editing, and have programs like the photo editor thats like photoshop.. and adobe reader..flash player..air…and itunes.. and maybe some pictures..

I also realized that laptops with vista home premium have 2GB memory RAM.. and 320GB on the hard drive.. im guessing it takes up alot of space… im really sick of windows xp pro and home.. its either vista or windows 7..

Yes this is long..now how do i go about being able to either have windows vista home premium or windows 7 with enough space to have my programs…does it matter what maker makes the gb thingy..and how do i put it in?

I just purchased a Acer one Aspire it does not have a dvd player so I cannot download my software programs to my computer. I purchased a Dvd/CD rewritable drive but I am not sure if I got the right external drive. So if someone could please tell me which one to purchase so I can download my programs to my Acer. Thanks….

It’s zooming in and out and I don’t know if there’s a setting somewhere that will make it stop doing this. I’m considering returning this if I can’t find a solution. Thanks for your help.
