Can a notebook cooling fan be used on a netbook?

I have the Acer Aspire 1 netbook. It goes a little hot under the case. I just purchased a notebook cooling fan with USB. Can it be used on the netbook? Is the power supply capable handling the extra wattage? Please let me know so I can make a decision whether to return the purchase of the fan or keep it. Thank you very much for your response.

I just bought an acer aspire 1 but it doesn’t have a disk drive. So i hooked my external disk drive up to it and inserted the disk but nothing happened. Ive already installed my disk drive to my computer, so why isn’t it working?

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on my Acer Aspire One and the battery says it is not detected!
Apparently it could be a driver error but the battery appears in device manager, but it won’t run of the battery.
Please help!!!!

He likes to DJ as a hobby but is by no means professional so he won’t have any of those softwares DJs use to scratch & mix music. I got a acer 10.1 aspire one netbook…laptop… from my cousin and i have tryed many wireless internet routers and tried and tried to hook them up but i cant get it t work…actually im trying to hook it up to my main computer…desktop… and i cant seem to get it…i nedd full steps, what kind of router to get, and pleae make the steps easy enough for a 14 year old.
i have tried to restart but i havnt looked for a green thing thanks both of you
and my mom helps me sometimes, and i told her what u said, but she said we r past that, we have it all set up when we click on internet exlporer the screen just says the windows cannot display page thing. its gettin on my nerves cus i cant figure it out

Does removing the hard drive from my Acer Aspire One netbook void the warranty?

My netbook is not booting and I’m sending it to Acer for a hard drive replacement. I’d like to retrieve my data from the HDD before I send it to them. Does removing the HDD void my factory warranty? I think I’m safe, but I wanted to make sure.
