The lamp for my Acer 723p has gone out. Could I purchase a lamp that has more luminosity (from an Acer 725p as an example) as a replacement? They bodies are identical. But I am not sure if it would work. I am under the impression that it would. The lamps look to be identical in shape and size. Of course, could my Acer 723p expel the heat of the better lamp?

My projector is an infocus x1a and it supports up to 720p resolution. It does not have hdcp support. my laptop is an acer 8920 and it has both vga and hdmi outputs. The projector only has vga and component (with an adapter) imputs. Will it display my commercial blu rays using a vga cable?

I do not have the operating manual. I have searched the acer web page and unable to locate this model (Extensa 6600) as it is not listed. I am in India but the Laptop was bought in Dubai in 2004 and gifted to me by a friend.
