I have an acer desktop computer Quad processor, a couple of days ago i started getting the blue screen of ..?

Death and my pc crashed more than 5 times, i tried using a recovery disk to re install windows i got the blue screen again and my pc crashed, i tried using vista DVD same outcome and now when i start my pc all i see is a black screen, my pc doesnt boot its just frozen on black screen.

can some one please tell me what to do i am really desperate i tried every thing but no respond just a black screen.
my pc is one year old and its been working really smoothly until two days ago, its really good with no previous problems, has any one ever dealt with a problem like this before?
ps: i dont think its a hardware problem. but the pc is not responsive right now, i can hear the cpu running but nothing happens the screen is dead black.

Lenovo n500 laptop only shows a black screen when I start it up?

I have just purchased a Lenovo n500 notebook and installed another ram stick to make it 2gb. I have all the connections set up, like the battery, and the power cord. I go to turn the laptop on, but only a black screen shows up. The lights on the keyboard show up, but nothing else. I’ve even tried to use the screen brightness but that didn’t work either.

Is this even a good brand?

I have tried re-installing windows home edition and pro but it still doesnt work. I dont want to take it to the shops. there must be a solution that i can do. can any1 help me?? Thank u in advance

Making a screen bigger on an Acer 10.1″ Laptop?

I want to make it bigger.. Cuz sometimes somethings I can’t see, cuz it’s so small. Can anyone help me out? What do I have to do to make it bigger? Can I connect it to a desktop screen, as well?

I was playing with my friend, and broke the laptop screen of my Acer Window 7 laptop. I want to know how much it cost to replace the screen. And I live in NYC, do you guys know anywhere that will replace my laptop screen for a cheap price?

Acer Aspire 1 Laptop issues, Please help asap! *loud beeping*black screen….?

So when I first start up the laptop, it goes to a black screen and immediately starts this loud high pitched beeping noise over and over. I can press ctrl+esc, or ctrl+alt+del and it will stop the beeping, and go to the windows startup screen, with the loading bar (the screen right before it goes to your desktop).
It continues to load, and load, and load, but wont go to the desktop.
I eventually let it just load for about 5 minutes, and then it automatically went back to the beginning black screen and beeping noise.

What can I do?

Best 12 inch screen laptop or notebook!?

Hi, i want to buy a notebook but i cant decide wich to buy.
I like the acer one aspire but it has 8.9 inch screen. I want it to be a small notebook but i dont know if a 12 inch screen will be better than a 8.9 screen. From all the 8.9 i choose the acer one. Please tell me the best 12 inch screen so i can compare size and prize.
PS: i like it with 120GB minimun, camera and 6 cells battery
Im not willing to spend too much. Im thinking about less than 430$. It has to be portable so i can carry it wherever i go although i am more time at home than outside. Im not thinking on running big programs, just itunes, limewire, word, msn, internet (duh), photos… only basics, and maybe photoshop.
nothing expensive like mac!..

Why did my laptop screen go black and now is so dark i can’t see anything on it?

I have an acer aspire laptop, I was on it and the screen just turned totally black. Now when I turn it on it is so dark I can’t see anything, I can just bareeeeeeellllyyy see it say acer when i turn it on, I dind’t do anything to the settings. Is there anyway I can fix this or do i have to get it done proffessionally? I can’t let it go to the main screen cause i can’t see any of it. Thanks!

Price estimates on LCD laptop screen repairs?

Okay, I’ve had this laptop for almost 5 years. I know it’s old, but I just got a new harddrive installed and it runs beautifully, so I want to keep it. A month or two ago, the backlight died, or from what I hear could be the LCD converter giving out. Either way, the screen is next to black and I want it repaired. Most places charge just to look at it, so I’m wondering if anyone knows how much replacement of any of these things usually costs. Thanks!

How do I make screen smaller using a mini laptop?

I have a mini laptop, I love it, but have a hard time clicking agree and ok buttons that are at the bottom of the page, I know how to click on the top right to minimize, but sometimes I don’t have that option. I need to know how to make a screen smaller so I can see the entire page on my mini laptop

Acer laptop question, shuts off when I close the screen?

I’m new at using the laptop. When I’m finished using it and flip the screen down… it just shuts off by itself. When I open it back up, I need to re-enter my password and then the desktop/home loads again. Is there any control panel or button to adjust it so it can stop doing that?
