The touchpad and keyboard of my notebook don’t work once every two or three days.I have to restore the touchpad old driver in order to make them work again.How can I solve this problem?Is it possible that a spyware might be in my notebook,and how can I deal with it?

The touchpad on my Acer TravelMate 4200 laptop doesn’t work anymore. I tried to update the driver per instructions to my previous question. I received an error message saying that “the software you are installing for this hardware has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP. Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system….” Then it says to contact the hardware vendor. Argh!
How doI change my Acer Travelmate 6292 laptop settings so my touchpad is used to move my mouse, not to select?

I don’t like how my touch pad selects items as well as move my mouse around. Too often my hand slips and I end up typing in the completely wrong place and it always messes me up and I am tired of it! I can’t seem to find any settings to change it. I saw that Fn+F7 will turn the whole thing off, but that isn’t what I want. Can someone help me?

i turned on the laptop, then a message came up “no bootable device- insert boot disk and press any key”, on a black screen. so i just turned it off. after a while, i turned on the laptop again and it worked fine. so i turned it off. later on i turn it on again but this time the touchpad doesn’t work. the right and left click button don’t work either. so i went and messed around with the settings and nothing worked. so i uninstalled the Synaptics touchpad software. i went to the website and installed it again, but still didn’t work. so i did system restore, twice and still the touchpad doesn’t work. what the hell is wrong with it?
HELP! Where can I find/order a replacement touch pad (touchpad) for my Acer Ferrari 3000 computer?

It’s zooming in and out and I don’t know if there’s a setting somewhere that will make it stop doing this. I’m considering returning this if I can’t find a solution. Thanks for your help.

I just purchased a new Acer One 10.1″ netbook and when I turned it on it created a selection box on my desktop (when you click and drag the mouse over multiple icons) but I cant left-click on anything. do you have any ideas of what could be wrong?
