I just bought an Acer Aspire One netbook and I inserted my SD card onto the Storage Expansion slot. I didn’t think much of it. Is any card inserted on that slot meant to be there permanently? If not, how do I remove it? Thanks

Yes, you can remove the SD card from the reader. Just as with a normal USB drive or Flash memory cards you will need to make sure it isn’t being used by any programs or has any storage you will want later. I would contact Ascer for a certain way to go about doing this or have a look at the booklet that came with your One. It should have a page or two on the droves and ports and should have one on the expansion slot.
